Team Testimonials

Hear from members of the University Police Department on why they love being a part of the team.

Ever since I started with UPD in 2008, I have always felt like I was part of an extended family. Everyone truly looks out for one another and is willing to help each other however they can. I also have always enjoyed working with the WVU community. I have met and made connections with many great people. I have always wanted to help people and help to make a difference in the community. The WVU Police Department provided me with that opportunity.

While working at UPD, I have come to love my job even more because of the people I work with and am surrounded by. They have all become a second family to me. Working in the Communications Office each day, I get to help people. Whether it be emergency maintenance calls like building unlocks or police calls, I am always given the opportunity to help. Every day is different, and you never know what is on the other end of the phone.
