UPD strongly encourages all bicycle owners to register their bicycles with the department and keep bicycles secured while on campus to combat theft. In the event your bicycle is stolen, your registration details will aid in the search and recovery of your bicycle. You will also receive a free bicycle lock for completing registration.
Register Your Bicycle with UPDYour bicycle's serial number will be entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), which is a criminal records database allowing criminal justice agencies to enter or search for information about stolen property.
