Amanda Bolyard
“While working at UPD, I have come to love my job even more because of the people I work with and am surrounded by. They have all become a second family to me. Working in the Communications Office each day, I get to help people. Whether it be emergency maintenance calls like building unlocks or police calls, I am always given the opportunity to help. Every day is different, and you never know what is on the other end of the phone.”
Amanda, who is originally from Arthurdale, is one of UPD’s lead communications officers. Since she began working with UPD in 2015, she has thoroughly enjoyed her career in this fast-paced environment. She enjoys helping our campus community every minute of every shift and knows her job makes a difference in people’s lives.
Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys getting outdoors, painting, drawing, crafting and spending time with her son. She is always up for a challenge and trying new things, which is why she loves working in UPD’s Communications Office.
