WVU Campus Hazing Transparency Report now available

As part of the ongoing commitment from West Virginia University to student safety and in compliance with the Stop Campus Hazing Act, the University has released the first Hazing Transparency Report.

During the period from July 1 to Dec. 23, 2025, no recognized student organizations or individuals were found responsible for any hazing violations.

All students, faculty and staff are encouraged to review the report.

See the full December 2025 WVU Campus Hazing Transparency Report for the Morgantown Campus.

The report is also available on the University’s Hazing Reports and Public Disclosures webpage.

If necessary, future versions of the Campus Hazing Transparency Report will include verified findings of hazing violations under the WVU Student Conduct Code involving student organizations, athletic teams and other campus-affiliated groups.

Additionally, the report provides information about hazing policies, prevention programs, and the definitions of hazing under the WVU Campus Student Code and West Virginia state law.

Everyone has a role to play in creating a safe and inclusive campus environment. If you have concerns about hazing or want to report an incident, please contact the WVU Police Department at 304-293-3136.
