Explosives Detection Dog
Chuck is a yellow Labrador retriever born in February 2023 and handled by Officer Ethan Stepp. He joined the WVU Police Department as a specially-trained explosives detection K-9 in July 2024.
Explosives detection K-9s serve our campus community and the surrounding Morgantown area by sniffing out venues for potentially suspicious items before large events.
