Strategic Plan to be posted soon
The West Virginia University Police are entering an era of unprecedented change and challenge, integrating units with our campus community, neighbors, sharing resources and skill while taking on the complexities of unceasing Information Technology (IT) development and the impact on crime.
None of this would be possible without the spirit of cooperation shown by our good men and women on the front lines, our police officers and support staff. We wish to acknowledge them in helping us achieve our mission.
Our appreciation also goes to our partners in law enforcement: the Morgantown Police, the Prosecutor’s Office, Morgantown Fire Department, EMS, MECCA, WVU’s EH&S Department, and all those who share our interests making our community safer.
Finally, our 45-year legacy of policing this community could not be possible without the stalwart cooperation and sustenance of a myriad of campus departments and colleges, and a progressive Administration behind us.
We look forward to sharing the future’s challenges with our existing partners while building new partnerships that make our campus community safer.
