Textbook Theft

Textbooks often are left unattended in public areas.

Textbooks are easily resold.

Textbooks are increasing in value.

Often owners cannot be identified.

You can:

Mark all books with your name and an identifying mark in a specific place, like page 72.

Keep your books with you; do not leave them in public places, on coat racks or tables.

Report book thefts immediately. Often recovery may be made at resale locations.
